Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Kesa, a cycle wellness app offering period tracking, daily check-ins, guided audio rituals, cycle insights, and an AI companion. By creating an account or using Kesa, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Kesa is

Kesa is a wellness and educational tool. Kesa is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional healthcare. Insights, rituals, and companion responses are meant to support self-understanding, not to diagnose, treat, or replace the judgment of a qualified clinician.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Kesa. If you are under 18, please get a parent or guardian's permission before creating an account.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Accounts are personal — please don't share yours, and keep to one account per person. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Your Account.

4. Subscriptions & billing

The free plan includes period tracking, a weekly voice note, and three check-ins a week. Kesa Pro unlocks unlimited check-ins, full phase pattern insights, a monthly Cycle Story, and the complete ritual library.

Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. We don't offer partial refunds for unused time except where required by law. You can restore a purchase on a new device from Settings → Restore Purchase.

5. Health & wellness disclaimer

Kesa does not diagnose health conditions and does not replace your doctor, gynaecologist, or other healthcare provider. If you have a health concern, please speak with a qualified professional.

6. Your content

You own what you enter into Kesa — check-in notes, period dates, symptoms, and everything else. By using the app, you grant us the limited rights needed to process that content and provide the service (store it, run it through the AI features you use, and so on). We may use anonymised, aggregated data — never tied back to you individually — to improve the app.

7. AI features

Kesa's companion and insight features are powered by third-party AI models. Responses may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete, and should never be used to make medical decisions.

8. Acceptable use

Please don't use Kesa to break the law, try to access another user's data, reverse-engineer any part of the app, or do anything that could disrupt or harm the service for others.

9. Intellectual property

All app content, design, and code belongs to Stephanie Bapes Limited or its licensed partners. Please don't copy, redistribute, or create derivative works without permission.

10. Changes to the service

We may update, pause, or discontinue features over time. If you're a Pro subscriber, we'll give reasonable notice of any change that affects what you've paid for.

11. Limitation of liability

Stephanie Bapes Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Where liability does apply, it's capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Governing law

These Terms follow the jurisdiction where Kesa is incorporated, though local consumer protection laws may apply depending on where you live.
